Frequently Asked Questions regarding Banquets, Catering, & Golf Outings

Q: Does Echo Valley rent out their banquet facilities to non-members?
A:
Yes, non-members can rent the upper level of our clubhouse for Wedding Receptions, Dinner parties, Christmas parties, Dances, Proms, Business and Retirement parties.

Q: How many people can the upper level accommodate?
A:
The upper level seats from 225 to 240 people. Wedding receptions are based on a minimum of 100 guests with a maximum of 225 to 240 people. The upper level can also be divided into three smaller rooms to accommodate business meetings and smaller parties.

Q: What caters are allowed at Echo Valley?
A:
Echo Valley allows no outside catering. All food and beverages must be purchased through Echo Valley Country Club. Specialty items such as "theme" baked goods are allowed with club permission.

Q: Does Echo Valley have a dance floor?
A:
Yes, we have a dance floor which is 15 by 18 feet. The dance floor can be expanded upon request and carries an additional fee.

Q: What special items are made available when renting the facility?
A:
There is no additional charge for the following items: Dance Floor, Table Linens & Skirting, P.A. & Podium, room set-up and clean up.

Q: What are your policies on decorating the room for a special function?
A:
Decorations could include balloons, floral arrangements, or candles. Restrictions on decorations such as confetti, sprinkles, rice, birdseed and mylar shred will not be allowed, also gifts and favors that include any candy, food, or beverages will not be allowed. To avoid damage to paint and woodwork, we do not allow taping, tacking, screws or nails to walls or doors. Any violation of these restrictions will result in a $150.00 additional charge plus any damage repair costs. Any tapered candles used must be in glass hurricane chimneys. No exposed candles will be allowed.

Q: What is the deposit amount needed to reserve a date?
A:
You must pay a deposit of $1000.00 to reserve your function's date. The deposit is non-refundable if the confirmed date is changed or cancelled. This deposit is required when the signed copy of the contract is returned and it will be applied toward the expenses incurred during the function.

Q: Does Echo Valley make their golf course available for corporate events?
A:
Yes, call for further details.

Q: What times are available to hold a golf outing?
A:
A.M. and P.M. shotguns are available along with consecutive tee time slots.

Q: How many golfers will Echo Valley accommodate?
A:
A shotgun tournament can consist of up to 144 players. When using tee times, this number will vary depending on your start time.

Q: Is it mandatory to use a cart for golf outings?
A:
Yes, it is mandatory for all participants to use a cart.

Q: How many golf carts does Echo Valley have available for golf outings?
A:
We have 75 golf carts available for rent. Arrangements for additional carts can be made.

Q: What is Echo Valley's dress code?
A:
Our Dress Code is as follows:

No blue denim jeans or cut-offs are allowed at the club at any time.

Shirts and footwear are required in all areas of the club with the exception of the locker room and pool area.

Please use common sense regarding all clothing apparel when visiting the club. It is recommended that everyone wear a shirt with a collar or an acceptable Crew Style shirt (crude printing on any shirt is unacceptable.)

Echo Valley Country Club enforces the use of Soft Spike golf shoes only and you are allowed to wear golf shoes in all areas of the club.
