Echo Valley Country Club Forms Alliance with Aspen Athletic Club.
In an effort to continually improve your experience as a valued
member of Echo Valley Country Club, we are excited to present you
with this exceptional membership benefit.
Echo Valley Country Club provides all members with full access to the Aspen Athletic Clubs.
Aspen Athletic Clubs are full-service athletic facilities featuring circuit training, free weights,
basketball courts, tennis courts, swimming pool, personal training and much more. With five fantastic
facilities, getting in shape has never been more convenient.
We at Echo Valley Country Club want you to know that we HAVE
NOT merged the entities or formed a partnership with Aspen Athletic
Clubs. We have simply purchased the right for ALL Echo Valley members
to become full members of these fine clubs.
How the Program Works
To activate your membership at the Aspen Athletic Clubs, please visit one of the five Club locations. It
is best to make an appointment by calling ahead. The address and phone number of each club are as follows:

Identify yourself as an Echo Valley member. The optimal time to visit the club is before
4:00 p.m. and after 8:00 p.m. You will receive an orientation and be given a tour of the
facility by a Fitness Counselor. Upon completing membership information, you will be
provided with Aspen Membership Cards for you and your family. You will pay no initiation
fee or monthly dues to Aspen Club. Should you choose to have credit privileges with
Aspen Club, additional information will be required.
As long as you are a member in good standing with Echo Valley Country
Club, you will be eligible to take advantage of this fantastic program.
Whether you currently belong to a health club or have simply chosen
to ignore your annual New Year's resolution, this program is truly
a win/win proposition.
Answers to Questions Regarding this Alliance
Is there a fee for this membership benefit?
There will be a $12 per month administration fee charged to each
membership account as a separate line item on your monthly statement,
should you choose to participate. THIS IS COMPLETELY OPTIONAL.
If you do not have an interest, simply notify us and you will
not be charged.
What if I already belong to Aspen Athletic Clubs?
Notify us immediately and your membership will be reclassified
under the Echo Valley Program. Your Aspen Athletic Club dues will
cease immediately. Keep in mind, even if you belong to another
fitness facility, Aspen Club will surely have everything you could
possibly be looking for in a health club, thereby allowing you
to consider canceling your present membership
Why is Echo Valley doing this?
It is our goal and expectation to be able to establish a bona
fide waiting list in each membership category by significantly
raising the value proposition of being an Echo Valley Country
Club member.
Why fitness?
We believe a high quality fitness facility is the most important
missing component of Echo Valley Country Club and frankly, all
the other clubs in Des Moines. Although we could build a fitness
center, we could never provide all of the wonderful programs inherent
in an Aspen Fitness Club Membership. Also, it provides added value
to our members for the entire year.
Is this a reciprocal agreement? Can Aspen Members use Echo Valley
Country Club?
No. They would have to join Echo Valley Country Club.
When can I join?
Now! The program is in effect immediately. Call Cathy or Ron
at Echo Valley Country Club should you have any questions.
We are extremely excited about the chance to offer this benefit
to our membership. We are certain most of you will want to take
advantage of this alliance.
